The world’s longest ‘ Zip Line’ has opened in the The United Arab Emirates on Thursday. As reported by the CNN, the Guinness World Records officials certified the zip line as 1.7 miles (2.8 KM) long on the same day as soon as it opened for the public. The zip line is built in the highest peak, the Jebel Jais of the UAE. The thrill-seekers should be at least 4 feet tall and not exceeding 330 pounds (149.6 Kg) to ride the zip line suspended 1,680 meter (5,512 feet) from the sea level. The riders can travel speeds of up to 93 miles per hour (150 KPH) finishing the rides in three minutes. The zip line can handle 12 riders in an hour and expected to serve about 100,000 tourists in a year, report said.
